The Cobham Tile Project
The Cobham Tile Project began in 2003 as an initiative to involve local Schools, organisations and individuals in the use of ceramics as an art form.

Participants were introduced to the concepts of ceramics, and were invited to design and create their own 6" square tile. Some took longer than others, but by June 2005 all the tiles - over 400 of them - had been created and fired. In July 2005 the tiles were bedded in mortar and mounted at two sites in Cobham High Street for all to see.
