| How the Grants procedure works... | |
| The Trust gives approximately £60 - £70K per annum in the form of grants to registered charities, organisations, schools and individuals. As well as giving grants, the Trust also organises and facilitates arts activities locally. Organisations and individuals seeking a grant should speak with the Director before applying to ensure that their project is suitable and meets the criteria. There is a simple application form to complete (available below) which must be returned by one of the four annual deadlines - see below. The Board meets after each of these deadline dates to discuss the grant applications received and other arts initiatives in the Borough, and determines how available funds will be distributed. It is vitally important to get the timing of your application right. The Trust never gives grants retrospectively, and the project should take place at least one month after the deadline to be considered. |
