Journey's End is the most famous play about the Great War and its author, 
R C Sherriff, saw all his frontline service with the 9th Battalion East Surrey Regiment. Michael Lucas will tell how he came to write the book, for which he drew on the records of the East Surrey Regiment and Sherriff's own papers held at Surrey History Centre.
