THE EMBER CHORAL SOCIETY meets for rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at 7:45pm at Our Lady's Church Hall, Hampton Court Way, Thames Ditton and we always welcome new members. There are no auditions, and with John Sutton conducting rehearsals are bound to be a lot of fun! Our plans for the forthcoming year include performances of a concert version of Carmen, Purcell's Come Ye Sons of Art, Vivaldi's Dixit Dominus, Schubert's Deutches Requiem, Saint-Saens' Christmas Oratorio and many other varied and challenging pieces. And, of course, when the singing is over, we enjoy frequent social events including musical soirees, barbeques, parties and a French trip in the Summer.
