Val Biro Val Biro drives to the venue in his vintage car 'Gumdrop' upon which 36 of his books are based. He gives talks (50Mins) which include telling a story and showing inllustrations on his slide projector. Workshops: he talks about the charactors in his many books, he asks the children to draw and colour, cut them out and then paste them onto a frieze - he draws 'Gumdrop' for the centre of the frieze.

Materials:	For the talk a Projection Screen and darkened windows. Workshop: a black paper wall frieze 3ft deep and as long as possible. A4 white paper, coloured crayons, scissors, paste. Large table for display of books for sale.
