Liz Ashurst
-is a practising artist and qualified teacher specialising in textiles. Light, colour and energy are the key factors in her work, which draws in inspiration from landscape, flowers and foliage and her travels in eastern Europe and India. Residencies have included The Roman Palace at Fishbourne, Chichester, Benenden School, Kent, St. Andrew's and St. Matthew's schools, Cobham and Royal Kent School, Oxshott. Here she uses recycled fabrics, threads, polythene and other materials.

Val Biro
Val Biro drives to the venue in his vintage car 'Gumdrop' upon which 36 of his books are based. He gives talks (50Mins) which include telling a story and showing inllustrations on his slide projector. Workshops: he talks about the charactors in his many books, he asks the children to draw and colour, cut them out and then paste them onto a frieze - he draws 'Gumdrop' for the centre of the frieze.

Materials: For the talk a Projection Screen and darkened windows. Workshop: a black paper wall frieze 3ft deep and as long as possible. A4 white paper, coloured crayons, scissors, paste. Large table for display of books for sale.

Far & Wide Puppets
We make shows with the children - leading them through all the stages of puppet theatre production: construction, devising, rehearsal, scripting and performing. The resulting performance can be performed to the school, parents and the public and is theatrical, spectacular and truly theirs. We specialise in creation myths from around the world but can dramatise storybooks or work with the children on their own stories. Projects can last from 3 days to 2 weeks and a class sized group through to whole school performances.

Materials: We provide all materials but need a dedicated working space. The hall is the best space for bigger projects (we can tidy up for lunch) because it makes the creativity the focal point of the school

Paul Geraghty
Paul is an author/illustrator of children's picture books and novels. He gives up to three different hour long presentations in a day, to audiences of 70-100 at a time, on the subject of picture books. He will also leave behind six large, signed, coloured felt-tip sketches done on the day. Usually schools keep and frame these, but they fetch around £100 each if auctioned.

Inspireworks
We offer quality Balinese and African workshops by experienced practitioners in schools and youth communities, that provide rich and stimulating experiences across 'the arts' involving music, dance, art, craft and design. We intend to help schools enrich and extend their teaching of the National Curriculum, as well as tailor making our Workshops to the broader spectrum of youth communities, by providing our specialist knowledge and experience in a range of artistic and cultural contexts. In our workshops, the participants are actively involved, take a full part in the creative process and experience a sense of pride and achievement.
Cost per day: From £200 for most workshops, £270 for Balinese Gamelan mmusic, including van hire. All workshops allow for 30 participants per workshp leader.
Additional Costs: £1.50 per mask for Balinese Masked Dance-Drama Workshop, £2.50 per puppet for Shadow Puppet Making. Travel within a 15 mile radius of Eton Wick is free. All other mileage is charged at 30p per mile.
Materials: Require a large hall plus other work spaces if more than one workshop leader is required. All other resources are provided by Inspireworks.

Simone Kay
Simone will work with a group of 8-10 students in one day or 24 students over two days to create a small panel of stained glass, water colours or collage. The stained glass activity is ideal for A Level Art class or GCSE Art group, introducing them to a specialised skill in some detail. Simone can make individual or group projects. The resulting panel can be displayed permanently in the school. Simone also offers workshops in watercolour and collage. Sue Lines
Sue has a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design and a PGCE in Primary Education and has worked as a freelance illustrator and Primary Art teacher with KS1, 2 and 3 students. Sue is now available to work at any time in a variety of drawing and painting media and enjoys adapting workshops to suit individual needs. A recent course has involved designing and making simple outfits to wear. Sue can set up Art Clubs within schools covering a wide range of art and textiles techniques. Ed Oxley
Ed offers workshops in didjeridoo playing. Groups of up to 30 children can participate, making and decorating their own didjeridoos and then learning to play them. Short performances can be arranged for the whole school. For longer residencies, Ed sometimes works with a choregrapher. Quote: 'Excellent, this is one of the best days we have ever had'.

Peter Rush
Peter offers sculputure workshops where pupils use wire and paper to create individual pieces 13-14 inches high. Peter is happy to work within a theme or topic suggested by the school and can work with up to 120 children at once (with supervision from teachers and parents). Workshops should last for at least 2 days in order to complete a project.

Smashing Glass
Smashing Glass is run by stained glass artist Sophie Allchurch. Students are able to have hands-on practice of processes involved in producing a leaded glass panel from a thumb-nail sketch through to the finished panel. Sophie will demonstrate the procedure from the initial design, the design drawn to scale, the sealed design, cutting of glass, leading, soldering, puttying and polishing. The length of time allocated determines the size and intricacy of a panel.

David Swinton
David Swinton is a sculptor specialising in Artist-in-Residence work in Primary Schools in a number of creative disciplines, principally Paper Sculpture. Workshops and Inset days are tailored to the needs of Primary staff and KS1 and KS2 pupils. Teaching 5 effective techniques, David can respond to different themes, enabling children to create exciting 3D sculpture using basic school equipment. Ruth Wheeler
Sculpt it is a community arts organization run by Sculptor Ruth Wheeler. It offers a wide range of one off workshops, residencies and projects to suit each schools requirement' s using a variety materials and with many artists. Ruth herself specializes in offering workshops for children of any age in creating large living/ brown willow structures and dens, Stone/ wood carving projects creating any size sculpture and any kind of mosaic/ mural projects. Ruth also specializes in chainsaw art, creating sculptures or functional playground pieces. Ruth prides herself on her flexibility and professionalism with working with schools and believes in the pupils being involved in all aspects of the process , from the design phase to making an artwork. Projects are planned to work around ages, special needs, sizes of classes etc Sculpt it can offer other artists who specialize in felt making, screen printing , photography, installational art, ceramics, mixed media, glass casting.
