2021 sees The Royal Albert Hall, a venue which has played host to every imaginable voice under its iconic dome, celebrate its 150 Anniversary. To commemorate this, The R C Sherriff Trust is excited to announce the 2021 Young Musician of the Year Competition is open to young singers. 

 

This fantastic opportunity is open to people aged 24 or under. There are 2 categories; 11-18 & 19-24. Applicants must have reached the standard of ABRSM Grade 4 but do not need to have taken formal exams, and be able to confidently perform the style of songs that is required for this Grade. Prizes:

 

18-24 Category: 1st Prize: £500 2nd Prize: £300 3rd Prize: £150

11-18 Category: 1st Prize: £300 2nd Prize: £200 3rd Prize: £100
